Ending Homelessness in Putnam County
The PATH (Projects for the Assistance in the Transition from Homelessness) Program at Plateau Mental Health Center in Cookeville Tennessee is actively raising funds to assist homeless individuals in the area to obtain housing this winter. – the PATH program strives to empower those we serve and to enrich their quality of life. We have housed 19 folks in the last 4 months but have many more we need to help. They live under bridges, on the streets and in cardboard shelters (see the picture of Luke and Frank trying to spend the night in a cardboard box) . Please help us reach the goal of housing the homeless in our area, many of whom are families with children or veterans of our armed forces. Many of us are just one paycheck away from homelessness at any given moment. THANK YOU
