There are many Internet resources and sites devoted to grief and self-help. These publications may be good starting points:

Film can be another good means of understanding grief. If you haven't seen it before (and many have not) we recommend that you view the beautiful 1995 film "Maborosi" by Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-Eda which deals with the psychological adaptation of a young widow to the sudden loss of her husband.

There are certainly other films that might help people to understand grief from the inside out. Please feel free to offer suggestions below.
