Nat'l. 10 provincial chapters. Founded 1979. Information, support and advocacy for families and friends of persons with schizophrenia. Public awareness campaigns, advocacy and fund-raising. Schizophrenics Anonymous
Int'l. 72+ chapters. Founded 1985. Organized and run by people with a schizophrenia-related disorder. Offers fellowship, support and information. Focuses on recovery, using a 6-step program, along with medication and professional help. Weekly meetings, guest speakers, phone network, newsletter. Help in starting groups.
